Need a little cosmetic help with atelier RGSS Battle Hud Plugin

EDIT: I worked out the problem! had the plugins in the wrong place lol, but i still would love to know how to make "Escape" a choosable option again instead of holding the "X" key on my keyboard. appreciate any help! (RMMV)

Hey all! nothing too fancy here, still new to MV & still learning, i was playing around with the Mog battle Hud and one thing that kept bothering me is i can't seem to find out how to activate the "wheel" battle command plugin to overwrite the "command list" in the battle hud.

for visual purposes this what my current game looks like:

and this is what i want it to look like (with the icons and the option name in the center circle):

also, if anybody knows how to change the "escape" function back into on screen option instead of pressing "X" on the keyboard that would be lovely, i would much rather have escape on the icon wheel or something similar.
