  1. Right forum right? Right? Left? Right? I'm here all week.

I wanted to officially post my album "Dogma" here, get some feedback on it, maybe some critique. As I am using it as half the soundtrack for my sci-fi game I'm currently working on...(Part Two of that soundtrack is in the works...)

Genre wise I'd call it "Experimental"...the whole thing is a mix of influences. Even my classical training makes an appearance on occasion (Lookin' at you breakdowns.)

Also it's 100% Dubstep free. So there's that.

I'm gonna shut up and let the music talk for itself....whatcha guys think? :)

  2. Where's the album?
  3. I'd love to give it a listen.

Could you link it please? ^^
  4. I'm listening at your website and so far I really like what I hear.  I'll give a full listen later on when I'm not so busy today and give you some feedback. Rock, Metal, and Synth are genres I need to write more with and this is really getting me in a good mood to hang my classical music up for a minute and give it another go.

In the topic, don't know what you're talking about. I didn't forget to put the link. How silly would that be? :p
  6. Powerful music: I think this could be a good definition for your work. I like your style, the rhythm is great and the sound rich.
    Good job :D
  7. Sounds like Apocalyptica meets Dreamtheter with a splash of Eldrich.

    Not bad at all!

    Very interesting.

Iit's not something that will blow my mind, but it isn't something that I listen and ignore either!

    It is at least interesting!

I have heard similar riffs, similar synths blah blah blah, but hey!

I never heard all these elements gathered together so nice.

Maybe vocals would lift such a music. Consider this an idea.

Your music is really nice. You got talent for sure. Stockholm and Archetype were my favorite.

Intro of Archetype is really incredible. Loved it!

Did you do the mixdown and mastering on your own? I feel it quite nice and not like frequency mass.

Do not take this bad, I try to give feedback according to my taste so things might be biased. But I am honest with good intentions here.

Maybe piano should be more boosted and clear (bringing it to the front next time, as a pleasant surprise, it can lead instead of support). Try to experiment with it a bit. ;)

I sense of a little more right channel, than left. Yes I am that kind of geek-stupid-idiot-weirdo who push people to be more perfect than perfect. You can hate me. :p

Since I make music too, it makes me feel nice listening to other artists sharing their music with us. Especially full albums!

What is interesting about your music is that many things happen and nothing is overused in my opinion (except right channel maybe :p ). This is hard to achieve, so well done! Congratulations mate!

    Thumbs up from me!

Right channel overwhelming is what happens when two guitarists try to have a pissing contest on an album. :p Which is pretty much what happened. Good ear on that, yowza!

Newer stuff I've been writing has brought the piano much further into the front of the mix, and I'm loving it. And yeah, it's an in-house mix and master.
  9. These also make fanTASTIC Christmas gifts. ;) *hint hint hint*
  10. I'm impressed with what I've heard so far.  You have talent, and a knack for combining disparate elements in a way which is wholly coherent.
