RPG Maker MV won't respond to my XBox 360 controller anymore! I just got my laptop fixed & still need updates & files and such, but MV is stored on my flash drive so it hasn't changed. Does anyone know what else could cause this?

Probably your Steam settings. You probably need to check them.

Is it wired? I had a few people complain about wired 360 controllers not working on my game and I was never able to figure out what was wrong because I never got to see it happening.

I don't use steam. Steam can kiss my ass!Probably your Steam settings. You probably need to check them.
Yeah, its wired (couldn't even imagine using a wireless for a laptop). It was working before my laptop went out of commission but now it won't. I even went to GameStop & got another controller in good condition. The controller's settings detects it just fine as does my emulators but MV just gives me the finger. Is it wired? My mistake. I didn't know Steam was your professional ass kisser. If it works for other games, but not for MV, then It's probably MV.There might be a setting somewhere in the files.

They should be. With their nonsense they deserve to be! Now as for that setting, I'm not sure if it exists. I checked to see if there were any plugins in regards to controllers but didn't find one of any relevance. My mistake. I didn't know Steam was your professional ass kisser. I'll send you a key for my game, if you don't mind testing the controller with it?
If it doesn't work with my game I'll help you find the cause. -

Problem Solved! Apparently, my DirectX files being outdated were the reason why MV didn't detect my controller. Weird.
