    Hey all,
    I hope this is a good place to post this question. Apologies if its not. Im trying to find what version of mv im running. Can any one help me out :)

    It's not really as simple as that.

    That will tell you what version of the MV editor you're running, but it won't tell you what version of core scripts all of your projects have. The version of the core scripts is the important thing to know for your projects, for troubleshooting, and for adding plugins.

    If you created a project with version 1.0.0 and then upgraded MV to 1.5.1, your MV editor will be 1.5.1 but your project will still be 1.0.0 - updating the editor does not update all of your existing projects.

    And if you used someone else's demo/base project to start your own, rather than creating it from scratch, then your project will be whatever version that demo/base project was, which also might not be the same as your editor version.

    Each time you upgrade MV, you also have to manually update the scripts in any of your current projects, and possibly update plugins as well, otherwise your editor and your projects will have different versions. Instructions on how to do this are in all of the MV Update announcement threads.
