MOO! - The Cow Resource Thread

OK - So I'm remaking an old abandoned game from the days of the Console RPGMakers.

Even then I had to make my own Cows. For some strange reason the makers of these things just don't want to make Cows into main characters. I may never understand why, but I will always find a way to make my own.

So here is my first RPGMMV Sprite! Dung-Dung, the Cow who will be leading the party in The Clean Underwear Quest!

First up is a Character Sprite for walkies around maps (includes the 3D Model set I made first, but didn't like) (no point in trashing it!) (it works, I just didn't like it):

And next is the Side View Battler Sprite Set:

I suppose a Head Shot is in order, but that may come later. I'm still not 100% Certain that the sprites are good enough to upload here in the resources or gallery areas - I'm still not satisfied with all the actions and need more testing. After then, I'll post it in the uploads area.

Until then - if anybody wants a Cow, have a Cow! No restrictions (well - 1 restriction - keep reading!) - use it, misuse it, abuse it, even commercially if you like. I don't require credit for it but wont complain if it's given.

Only restriction is not to claim it as your creation, even if it's drastically altered - in which case just say you used it as a starting point (whether or not you credit me, just don't say you made it from scratch).

That's it for now.

I still need to make a few more critters, and hope to improve in the process. At which point I'll post anything I make if people want.

EDIT: I am attaching the battler and character sheets here since the old ones were hosted on Photobucket and they added watermarks while I was away!

An added bonus is the Beer characters added to the Cow character sheet (yes, you have to fight Beer in my game) (it's complicated).

I am torn between saying those cows are adorable or downright disturbing ;) Your post is hilarious too. Thanks for sharing your resource.

Hahaha! These are awesome! I'm not sure what I would use them for as the style doesn't match anything else, but it's an adorable style and those SV battlers are hysterical! The flaming udders... fabulous!

But if you think the sprites border on disgusting...  the game will not leave you torn.  You will have no doubts.  Let's face it - when an Underwerewolf steals ALL the underwear from Disgustinshmere, the only one who can help is the town's Poop Mage  (who just happens to be this Cow!)  :stache:

Well, my old notes had Plastic Pants to protect against Excremental Forces.  But as a Poop Mage, the emphasis is more magic like Bloosh and Brown Shower to attack, Fiber, Enema and High Colonic for healing, and if I can work out a Summoning System there will be a Dung Beetle summon. 

But I like the milker - it doubles as a weapon AND a naughty play toy  BD

There is a Styrofoam Nose item for Headgear - could doulbe for the pretty hat, maybe?

That's hilarious, although the 3D version is also a bit distrubing.
