  1. Thus there is any way to store money in rpg maker fourms without having a credit card or a paypal account???
  2.    I'm pretty sure the forum store only accepts paypal (which irks me to, as I'd like to purchase member+ and support the forums, yet I dislike the idea of a collective for my monetary information existing on the internet; no matter how 'secure' it is." The site store (gotten to by typing in rpgmakerweb.com and clicking purchase without going to the forums"\) will take credit/check cards and all the normal ways of payment as well so you can buy things there without having to have a credit card or paypal... or if you don't have access to check cards and such either (and are interested in resource packs rather than members+ or anything) you could always buy a steam card and get the packs off of steam instead.

Additional to that: Get RPG Maker VX Ace for steam or else you can't buy any of the "dlc" packs.

Really? Wasn't aware of that at all since they are all loose files...

Because steam handles them as "dlc" and therefore they can't be bought without the "main game" in this case RPG Maker VX Ace.
  6. The forum store also offers gift vouchers, so you can have someone else purchase those - but that someone else has to have an accepted payment method.
  7. So,This forum has store money without having a paypal account or a credit card?
  8. I'm really not sure what you're asking.

The store works like any other store. You pay for things and you receive a purchase. But you need a paypal account to pay for them.

It's not a bank where you would deposit money...

    Lol. This made me giggle.

Anyway, is that what you are asking? Either way, how would you deposit said money onto your account...? By credit or debit card? Or Paypal? What's the difference between paying it outright and depositing money into the forum bank? (there isn't one, I know, hypothetical.)

I really don't think there is a difference...

    False.

I bought RPGmaker on preorder (15 dollars cheaper, day early access + free ) and I've bought nearly every tileset pack that's come out since from the site here.

As for the issue some have with paypal, may i suggest having contests every now and then where the reward could be getting member+ and maybe other stuff?

I'd certainly consider them a member plus more if they participated in a contest rather than throw money around, anyway.

I at first thought the same thing. Anyway, unless they do something or do already do something like I suggested above there's virtually no way of paying for member+ or anything online without giving up your credit card/debit card stuff.
  11. You misunderstood. Baka-chan called them DLC, which is only what they're called on Steam. If you want to download the packs from Steam it won't let you unless you have a Steam copy of Ace. It's absolutely true and a bit frustrating.

    Oh.

So you have to buy them on site just like you did your copy of RPG maker VX Ace, then. I see now, the complaint was that if you didn't buy VX Ace on steam, you cant buy the DLC on steam. That's probably a technical limitation on the system. I doubt there's much you could do about that.

Never been an issue for me, despite how much I love Steam i've always just gone through the site for the DLC packs.

If you are really worried about that, you may want to check this out: https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/addcash

Will cost you a little bit, but if security is what you are looking for, there it is, the only thing on the internet would be the money that you put in, no Credit Card info or bank info.
