Hello,
https://atelierrgss.wordpress.com/rmv-chrono-engine/
I am attempting to use the on map tools (such as the dagger, bombs, hookshot) of Moghunter's Chrono Engine, but I do not want to use the ATB/ABS battle system that comes built into the plugin.
Does anyone know of a similar plugin that can accomplish something similar? Or a way that I can workaround my issue with the current plugin?
Thank you in advance.

Just so we are clear, the tools (dagger, bombs, hookshot) are part of the ABS (Active Battle System). You can drop the ATB system but you will need the ABS part of the engine for any of the tools to work like they do in the demo.
MOG_PickupThrow
MOG_EventSensor
MOG_ChronoEngine
MOG_ChronoToolHud
At a minimum. -
@IgorLugosi thank you for the reply.
If I switch the ATB system to off, will random battles still behave in the default RPGMV way?
I unfortunately can't test anything right now.
Thanks again. -
I just gave that a quick test and yep it worked.
I can't say for 100% if there are no conflicts but I entered a random encounter battle and used regular default skills to defeat two default bats.
I have the plugin parameter "Battle Mode" set to 1 for ABS mode. 0 is for the Chrono Engine ATB mode.
You should be able to use as little or as much of Chrono Engine as you want.
Random encounters might even work with ATB on, but I don't have a project set up to test that. -
Great, thank you so much for testing this for me!

You bet. Happy game making!

Hello, I am a new one in here, but I'd like to know when the player gets damage, you will hear "Augh!" or "Oww!" or "Kuh", in original moghunter abs, there's no voice when the player gets damage.
So, does any know that? I really don't know how I can do that.
I hope if you can answer. -
