Hello, everyone! I've decided to revive and re-purpose this thread! This was formerly known as "McTricky's Battle Music Packs", which had about 20 battle/boss themes across two different music packs. Those are super old now, dating back around 2011-2013. We'll call them "legacy" packs. The legacy packs can still be found on this post, just right at the bottom with the original links still intact!

Redubbed, the "Music Mine", this will now be a place where I will deposit RPG music I create in leisure that aren't already for an existing project/commission. This thread will be updated each time there is a new piece of music available! Just click on the name of the song to download them! Each download will be a single loopable OGG file so you can simply plug in and play!

  2. If i didn't want original music for my games, i would surely use theses. Fuel The Fighting Flame and Shadows In Hell sounds excactly like what i had in mind for the bosses for my game.

By the way the "Eyes of the Plight" isn't present o the pack.
  3. Ah thanks, Victor!

Oh and I re-uploaded the pack with Eyes of the Plight inside. Sorry about that.
  4. I really love your music here, it feels motivational(I've been listening to it while getting some work done). "No Quarter" is my favourite. It sounds sort of familiar, but I just can't put my finger on it. I'd definitely say you have some talent. :p I can't wait to hear more from you!
  5. For some reason, I'm having trouble playing these, even though I've downloaded .ogg files before from this site and played them with SMPlayer. It seems to be treating it like a movie, but instead of playing it's just the Play and other buttons flashing on and off. Any idea what the problem is?

    Edit:

Nevermind. Turns out I was trying to play the files designed for a Mac OS.
  6. No quarter sounds like it shares the same bassline from Final Fantasy 7, and Manaical Prodigy sounds like it came out of pokemon stadium. very epic to listen to. Fuel The Fighting Flame is definitely like an event music before the epic fight. Eyes of the Plight sounds like it came out of Kingdom Hearts. Which I absolutely love! <3 Shadow in Hell...no comment due to the amount of awesomeness overflowing from it! You are the target is epic...flat out. Victory is Close? Ha! Victory has already been obtained by this amazing soundtrack. It's hard to please my music loving ear, and since I have a soft spot for orchestral music, I love it. This is a battle music pack that should be downloaded for not only to listen to in game, but worthy on MP3 players. Great job McTricky!

There's this one song from Final Fantasy IX (it plays during that battle in the beginning as part of the theatre act) that influenced that piece.

    Thanks!

I'm in the process of making a few tracks for my own project. This includes 2 battle themes, that I'll be including in the next pack!
  11. Completely love every track!

    You did a great job!

    Thanks for releasing these!
  12. No Quarter sounds like a remixed version of Feel My Blade from FFIX, which I LOVE.

Good of you to notice! It was totally influenced by that piece.
