I'm trying to make a simple drop quest for my first practice game, how I do not know how to make the person who is suppose to advance the quest (Dock Dude, as his named) recognise that the player has three of a certain item in their inventory; although, I can get him to detect if they just have the key item in general.
I am using the standard, shipped script and with zero added resources for this game.
If there is anymore information that is needed, please say

Thank you

Control Variables > Game Data > Item ? In Inventory
This will set your variable to the number of that item you have in stock, which you can then just use in a conditional branch. -
O.O OH MY GOD IT WORKS!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I spent all today and yesterday trying to figure it out, or figure a way around it; I never though Game Data would help me.
Again, thank you so much Miss Shaz c: Your help is much appreciated.
Now, to figure out how I report this to a moderator to close it... -
You're welcome.
Just click on the 'report' button in the lower right :) -
Erm...I just went to do that, and it said use it for Objectional content only :/ Do I still use it?

Yes. Just add a "please close this thread" comment :)
I'd close it myself, but this is not one of the forums I can moderate. -
Tralala.
