Mack Vendor Stalls

  1. I recently came across the vendor stalls by Mack and am using them for exterior purposes, and I really wanted to know if there was a way to make the counter space static so that I could put items on top of it without having it disappear.  I have a feeling the only way I'll accomplish this is if I add it to the Tile A, but I was hoping there was a work around I was ignorant of that ISN'T adding a ton of events to the stall top.
  2. Well, personally I wouldn't add it into any of the A tiles (I'm not quite sure what that would do; about the only one I would think it'd work on in those sets is A-5 and even then I'd be extremely hesitant since by the design it looks like the ground is supposed to appear underneath it)

Another option would be to open that section of Mack tiles up in a graphic editing program (preferably one that can work with layers and transparency like Gimp or Photoshop if you possibly have it) and edit the stuff you want on it that way. Then when you're done save it as a different tilesheet and import it for use (possibly just in the spot where the old stall was on it's tilesheet)
  3. I had considered doing that... but was desperately hoping to avoid that. But there are a lot of things on the tile sets I dont want or need for my exteriors in this particular town, so I could always remove the stuff I dont need so long as I keep the alignment correct. Thanks for thinking about it, Lemongreen!
  4. I have at least a coue that I put together. I can get them for you later when I'm on my computer.
  5. Can anyone direct me to these Vendor Stalls?
  6. Have you tried using Hime's Overlay Maps script?

Besides that, I can't think of any way to get it done besides add a ton of Events that are just there to show the graphic.  RPG Maker XP does give you three layers to work with instead of two, which in practice makes it much easier to make objects look good.
