Is there going to be a compatibility problem between RPG Maker MV and Mac OS Catalina, or between MV games and Mac OS Catalina?
I'm seeing a number of non-RM games on Steam starting to include a disclaimer of not being compatible with Catalina, and I'm wondering if Catalina is going to make all MV games or older engine RM games obsolete on Macs.

Valve is requiring all steam games to go through Apple's notarization procedure if they want to be flagged as mac compatible. What this means is that you'll need a mac computer, an apple developer account and to send every mac version of your game for apple to approve before you can release it.

And you need to update your games to be 64-bit based as Catalina wont run 32-bit apps. As per another post here, it seems the games dont work on Catalina. I dont know about the program itself though.

Okay after looking up with a ton of Google searching, I found a way to check compatibility.
I deployed a game from my test project in MV, then I went to "About This Mac", then "System Report" --> "Applications" --> [deployed game]
When I selected the deployed game on the application list, the System Report indicated it as [64-bit (Intel): YES], so a game deployed for Mac OS in MV should work in Catalina.
EDIT: My MV version is 1.62, if that matters.
