M.I.A.'s Mini-Mapping Challenge

Hello Game Makers!

I've finally got my tiles set all sorted for my main project.. and I wanted to do some practices with mapping with them.
So, here's what I'll do..

Make a suggestion for a map. Almost anything (except modern/science)!! And I will attempt to make a 10x17 (or smaller) map to post here. Just follow the guidelines below and let's see how it goes.

Suggestion:
- Indoor, Outdoor, or Either
- Broad Idea

Example:
- Dungeon style
- Treasure Nook




I am open to constructive criticism and suggestions on all finished maps. However, I will NOT be using DooDads, Lighting Effects, or Parallax. All maps will be tiled. :)

I'm still kind of amazed at how good that looks on such short notice with someone just throwing something out there.

@Parallax Panda , A simple, and slightly overdecorated, Hero Starter Room.

This Hero is an artist! And a Moogl.. erm, "Critter". And of COURSE he's sleeping! That's how his epic tale begins. :)

@MintAdnade , A literal "underground" Critter Arena, not sanctioned by the Castle, that's for certain!!

This was fun. I think I could improve on my mapping for 'darker' themes.. :)

How about a raft or boat drifting down a (somewhat wide) forest river? That should be a little tricky (depending on your tilesets).

Hmm. An ER reception for fantasy heroes. Maybe a patient room or two. That could be interesting.

Do a maid cafe.

@Parallax Panda , What was tricky is trying to make the river look wide as well as have some interest..

Broken bridge!! Instruction manual?.. Sailing Moogl.. er.. critter!! :)

*EDIT* Yes, I see a couple overlapping errors. Oh well.

@Sharm Welcome to Fantasy ER. Where the Doctors are geniuses, the Crystals are healing, and Harold takes a much deserved nap as Therese, Marsha, and Lucius eagerly await continuing their adventure!!

(Also, sorry for double post?.. I seem to be under the impression it's 'ok' when adding new content?.. I could be wrong? What's the verdict on that?)
