Lost Product Key- New Laptop

Hello, I bought RPG Maker VX Ace on 12th June 2013.

The laptop I downloaded it onto has recently decided to stop working, to my frustration. I've purchased a new laptop, and signed into my RPG Maker account in order to download it again - however - I forgot that I needed the product key in order to use it.

The email I was sent when I first purchased RPGVXA, has since disappeared - as I thought my laptop would last longer than it did...

Is there any way to be re-sent the email, or recover the product key? Or even a Steam product key, to make sure this won't happen again!

yes, but you need to send an support ticket (top right) with enough information to identify you. Especially they need either the billing information or the email adress you purchased from to resend the key.


One question: did you purchase in the main store or in the forum store?


The forum store remembers the key in your client area (but a lot of the sales are for the main store only, so not everyone has purchased from the forum store)

I'm not too sure what the difference is between the main store and the forum store. I just clicked "products" at the top of this site, followed it to RPG Maker VX Ace and purchased it there.

that is the main store - the forum store ist the store link on topic menu, next to the "member" link, and the forum store is mostly used by Member+ for the bonus.
