  1. Oh my gosh. You wont believe how frusterated I am right now.

Before my question lemme give a little information why.

So, I, for a school project, was going to spend the school year building a game (Which I had full liscensing too, no copyrighted stuff) on which I was going to hand it as a massive project, put it for sale on something, ect.

Well you see school computers, when shut off, they reset their harddrives. So my computer is set to not turn of.... That is until the power went out during a storm.

After spending over two weeks waiting for Steam to reply to me, they used a B.S bot response in return. I can't send in a support ticket to you guys without having my product key, and Steam wont give me it, and they can't B.S me like they tried, trying to say there is no key, my steam account is the key. I have 150+ bought things on that Steam account, so that is one big ass key I guess, right? Sigh.

So, I turn to the forums. It takes me three accounts, and then just simply changing my e-mail on one of them to my friends who was nice enough to let me use her e-mail, for me to get a validation e-mail. I tried resending it various times, and nothing, not in spam, inbox, junk, anything. In fact I don't even get RPG Maker news letters when its set to do so.

So now that I finally have access to some, hopefully, help, here's my issue.

My last and only previous game file I have is on dropbox, luckly, so I didn't lose it completely.

The only problem is it's encrypted. I need it unencrypted so I can continue working on my game. I already lost a lot on it I very much don't want to restart I wont be able to replicate what I've already done without it turning out poorly, as I am not good at re-doing things.

I know RPG Maker's encryption was hacked a few years ago, but I don't want to get someone to do it, or to do it myself by finding the program to do it with, without consulting here first and seeing if an admin or so will be able to help me with it.

Please, don't be useless as Steam. That's all I ask. I need help, not some paragraph of B.S then "Sorry can't help ya."

    Cause I know you can.
  2. You could have send a support ticket and place "steam" instead of a licence key into that field - it accepts any input as long as you place something there, and after that a human will check if you have a valid concern.

Do you have nothing but the encrypted game? Because decrypting it is not as easy as you think it is.

And even if (if - that's not saying that this will be done) someone from degica decrypts it for you, you need to proof that you're the original creator and indeed have the licence to the materials inside. Otherwise anyone could send in an encrypted game and ask for the included resources.

And because that is critical, I would like to ask you to handle this question by support ticket or by PM to an admin - we cannot allow discussions about decrypting in the public forum, sorry. I'm closing this topic because of this, please send PMs or tickets.
