Hello everyone! In this RPG Maker Let's Play, we enter the world of "Chaos EX" and... kinda lose what's going on about ten minutes into the game.
The premise of this game is kick ass, and we love the idea of another world of energy beings and the concept of Light Matter versus Dark Matter. However, the presentation of this story is so choppy, and the dialogue is so confusing, that we really don't know what's going on. The game's flow needs to be mapped out, and the dialogue needs to be written considerably better. Lastly, the boxy mapping needs to be done away with.
We'd like to see where this game can go, but it needs to be reworked.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!! In this RPG Maker Let's Play, we head on over to the world of "The Tavern", a unique choose-your-own-adventure where every decision you make affects the game.
It reminds us of games like "Until Dawn" and we really like that. Games with the butterfly effect are always fun and challenge you to really think about your choices. The mapping and characters are really good as well, and breathe life into the story.
The biggest issue we have with this game is the grammar and sentence structure. Sentences meander and need some editing. A good proof-reading would really benefit this game and make it even more solid.
But overall, this is a great game we plan on playing through.

I don't have a complete game project yet, but I do have a demo I'll be releasing next month for my game when I make my thread. I would be interested to hear your thoughts on it.

Hello everyone! In this RPG Maker Let's Play, we fly into the world of "Lakserf" by EG Stryker. With a remarkable presentation, this game is fun from start to finish.
The game looks amazing from the time you start it, with a professional presentation, an engaging story, and a fun and easy-to-understand battle system. The mapping is top rate and the characters are unique and interesting. There's nothing seriously wrong with this game, not that we could find.
The biggest issue is that the game needs line editing, badly. It also needs to summarize the info dump at the camp fire. Lastly, it would highly benefit from a character generation piece during the opening parts of the game (after the prologue).
The prologue is almost too long, and could be condensed.
Overall, though, this is a fantastic game!

Hello everyone! In this RPG Maker Let's Play, we forge into the world of "Vanadiel Chapter 1: Blood of the Beastmen", a Final Fantasy fan game with a lot of potential.
This game has unique characters and a solid plot line with strong progression, but has a number of issues that need to be addressed:
First, the mapping needs a lot of work. There is too much sparse and open space, too much angular and boxy mapping, and too much wasted areas. These things need to be tightened up for the game to flow more smoothly.
Second, the game's prologue is so long that many players will just want to jump straight into the action. Therefore, there need to be more starting items, so that impatient players can go right inot things.
Third, there are no starting status curing items when there are status ailments. Even a few eye drops will due.
Lastly, there should be NO quick time events for special powers unless they (1) come out far earlier and (2) have an explanation on how they work the first time they are used. Otherwise, you're punishing a player for spending time to build up TP.
We want to see this game do better, so the improvements would really go a long way to make this the best it can be.

Hello everyone! In this RPG Maker Let's Play, we return to the world of "Arr Tee Pee 3D" and see what's improved.
The game's mapping and style has improved, with great particle effects and solid use of the 3D effect. It's still got it's tongue and cheek humor, with improvements to the characters as well. Lots of fun with a simplistic and trope-filled plot--exactly what you'd expect from satire.
However, the leveling in the game still needs work. The disparage between levels is such that when we fought the second boss, we were doing 0 damage to him. The game needs to be balanced from the ground up if it's going to bean enjoyable experience.
A good idea and a good execution that just needs more tweaking.

Hello everyone! In this RPG Maker Let's Play, we find ourselves trapped in the world of "Escape Room: Reality", and boy do we have a good time.
This is an RPG Maker Escape Room, one where you are tested with logic puzzles and analytical problems. There are five unique characters, puzzles that increase in difficulty, and a sense of satisfaction with every advancement made.
There isn't much to critique of this game. There are a few spelling and grammatical errors that need to be addressed, but over all this is a great game we recommend to everyone.
You can get it on Steam.

Hello everyone! In this RPG Maker Let's Play, we delve into the tongue-in-cheek world of Evil Overlord, a parody of a game where you play the child of the main villain.
In premise this is a great game, with lots of silly humor and fun gags. The mapping is good enough in some places (and rudimentary in others) and the battle balancing is well done.
The problems with this game, however, are several-fold: The world does not react or evolve around the story at all, leaving it feeling flat. The characters (aside from the Heir and Jeeves) aren't that interesting. The boss fight against the eight slimes and the megaslime is unnecessarily ridiculous. Lastly, the economy is pretty skewed.
Overall, this game needs a lot of work, but has solid potential.

Here our Let's Play/First Impression of Cavern of Time, a fun game with a strong nostalgic throw back to the old D&D adventure games. This game was a lot of fun for us because of the aesthetic and gameplay, and it will please anyone who enjoyed old games like Baulder's Gate or Neverwinter Nights.
This is not to say that the game can't be better. The map design is not as finely tuned as it could be in some places, as in the critical path is not 100% clear. Also, the main character doesn't have a strong presence - even though she is a silent protagonist, more could be done to make her stand out. However, these issues are quite minor, and the overall impression of this game is very favorable.
We can't wait to see what SimProse comes out with next!
I'm not sure what it was but I really enjoyed you guys narrating over this game, would love to see a full let's play of it on your channel. Meow. -
Hello everyone! In this RPG Maker Let's Play, we spin into the world of Asylum: Secrets of Caledria by Neo Soul Gamer, a fun game with a lot of promise.
Visually, this game is amazing, with some of the best sprites and mapping we've ever seen. The opening is epic and engaging, and the game holds your attention from the start. It's a solid story with workable characters, and everything is presented coherently, save for a few issues.
The biggest one is the ten year jump, where you have no exposition to explain what's happened before being dropped right in the action. Our recommendation is a short front load of information, then the scene with Emperor Junon. Otherwise, shortening the amount of time between the end of the prologue and the start of the main story would accomplish the same effect.
The lack of women in the game is very, very noticeable.
But those are the major issues. The combat system is robust, the dungeons have a well defined critical path, and the game itself is very absorbing. With those problems fixed, it will be even more fun.

Hello everyone! In this RPG Maker Let's Play, we explore the open world of Radiant Arc by Linky/Danny... well, we explore the prologue anyway.
This game has amazing visuals, with some of the best mapping we've seen in a while. The battle system is easy to learn, and the plot, while tropish, is charming. The secondary characters are solidly written and provide a great back drop.
The biggest issue is with the main character, whose personality is all over the map. He needs to be more cohesively written from the beginning of the game, so we can tell what we're dealing with out of the starting gate.
There is also an issue with the time jumps in the beginning.
Lastly, the prologue is about an hour long (about the length of Oblivion's progloue) and may or may not be off-putting for some players.
But overall, this is a fantastic game with a lot of good potential. Can't wait to see what the developer comes up with next.

Hey everyone! We just finished a live stream of the full playthrough of Traum by @Skyforger and his team.
This game is amazing, and we cannot recommend it enough.
So no more words. Let's just jump into the fun:

Hello again. I'm back with another game I've made and recently posted on these forums; if you're still taking more let's-play requests. It's the updated version of my very first RPG Maker game (made in RM2K), and is focused on exploration, dialogue and clearing mini-games/challenges. A full playthrough would probably take 2 to 3 hours at most.

Hey everyone! In this RPG Maker Let's Play we slip-and-slide into the tongue-and-cheek world of "Adventures of Dragon", a satircal game by TomuoL, the creator of "Save Your Mother".
This is a fun game with naughtiness and humor mixed together into an adorable mess. The fourth wall is shattered and the overall story is light and silly. The mapping is great, the combat is easy to work with, and overall the game is a lot of fun.
As the developer wanted us to look at the Lore, we spent some time skimming through the Pantheon book. We feel that the Lore of this game is too complex and complete for a satire game and belongs in a more serious one. The Lore here is REALLY good, and we don't say that lightly. It just seems out of place with the tone of the game.
The vulgarity for vulgarity's sake needs to go. It diminishes from the game itself.
Lastly, as the developer allows you to choose your sex at the start of the game, the dialogue and character voice needs to tailor to that choice. Everything is geared towards a male character, not a female.
If these issues are fixed, this is a fun game that we'd recommend for those who want a laugh.

I already said it in the video but thanks again, I'll work out those problems. I'm glad you had so much fun, I had lots of fun watching your video too!

Hello everyone! In this RPG Maker Let's Play, we enter the world o Remnants of Ardrus, Demo version, a fantasy game with a solid story and good potential.
Although it follows a normal "hero's journey" concept, it's well-executed and quite fun. Combat is very well thought out, and the cooking system adds an extra dimension to the game. The art style is refreshingly different from what we usually critique.
Unfortunately, the characters fall short of expectations in this one, going in a direction that is either cliche for a fantasy trope or makes them unlikable/unrelatable. None of the three main characters are particularly enjoyable, and the protagonist's love interest needs the most work. The font is also way too small.
However, those issues aside, this is a solid game with a lot going for it. As Teal says, we're willing to give this game another chance if the characters can be improved.
Also, developer, normalize the volume on your music. ;-)

Will you guys be making a list of games you will be reviewing? Some people might be offended by the 'p' word at the end of the last video. Sounding derogatory towards women.

Hello everyone! In this RPG Maker Let's Play, we jump, kick, and punch our way into the world of Class Council Chaos, an insanely fun game with a lot of polish.
This is one of the better games we've played in a while, capturing our attention from the very beginning with its original concepts and fun gameplay. There are so many customized events in this game: Choices like your character's sex, the subject you teach, and what you choose on for each student bring out a very unique and different experience. The game we played and what you'd play would be very different.
The game itself is also very fun, with more than a fair share of video game in-jokes that even the most jaded veteran will enjoy. We had such a blast playing this game that we intend to continue playing it offline.
There are two very notable issues with this project, however: The writing is very clunky and needs a pass from an editor. Also, the controls for turning quickly are terrible and need to be fixed. This game aches for gamepad support.
But don't let that take away from the awesomeness that is this game. We highly, highly recommend it!

Hey everyone! In this RPG Maker Let's Play we fall into the world of Expiation, an adventure with a few unique twists, but ultimately needs a lot of polish and work before it's ready.
First off, it's painfully apparent that this game is written by someone who's first language isn't English, and while that gives it certain allowances, eventually they'll need someone to go through the game script and fix the writing to be easier to understand. It's not terrible by a long shot, but there are obvious mistakes in the sentence structure.
Second, the characters are all over the map, especially Kellan, who flip-flops on his opinion of the protagonist repeatedly throughout the playthrough. It's not just him. One minute, a character is grateful, the next they are suspicious, then they are dismissive. It's a delicate game of balance, we know, but there is still more work to be done.
Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, the protagonist is utterly useless in combat, to the point of being a detriment to the party. There needs to be a skill or an ability or something that sets him apart from the others and gives him a defining edge, and it needs to be from the beginning. Also, the level disparage between the protagonist and the others is too high (Level 1 to Level 14? Wow!).
Also, no starting dungeon to explore? Bold move!
However, there are a few things about this game that are absolutely wonderful. First off, the sidequests are seamlessly integrated into the story. One moment you are having a conversation, the next you are on a sidequest. Second, the premise is actually pretty cool: A young boy is transported to another world and has to find his way home. While that in itself is not unique, the hook is that the boy himself appears integrated in the world by some mysterious means. We wanted to know more about that. Lastly, the protagonist is Greek, which is something we've never seen before.
This game needs a lot of work and a lot of polish, but could be something really special once it receives developer love.

Hello everyone! In this RPG Maker Let's Play, we return to the world of Crelixis Chronicles. The developer promised improvements with this version of the game, but unfortunately, it seems like the same problems plague the game as before.
The maps are still very rote, with buildings packed tightly together, trees too orderly and straight, and interiors too large and spacious. The dialogue is still very stilted and hard to read, the presentation is still lackluster, and the progression of the story is still too slow.
Having said that, a number of very positive things stand out: Combat is amazingly fast and well put together--it's one of the better combat systems we've ever seen. The characterization is improved--Michelle is no longer rife with insubordination. Lastly, the quests are presented in a way that makes sense and works for the narrative.
This game needs a lot more work if it's going to properly represent the developer's vision, but it's off to a good, solid start. Good job!
