Looking For A Certain Sprite Style

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but I'm looking for a certain style of sprite base.

I've decided to draw all the areas in my game, meaning that all the levels will just be hand-drawn pictures, no use of tiles. And I need a sprite style that would fit this.

So maybe a sketch-styled sprite base?

I like this base: http://fav.me/d757i9g but it's just a bit too cartoony for this partcular game, I'd prefer something a little more realistic.

I'd like if the base was kind of big because I find it hard to work with smaller sprites.

It doesn't have to be done with pixels like a normal sprite, it could be done with a regular art brush like the one I linked above.

My protagonist is male, so a male base is more important than a female one right now, but if you can find both that'd be cool.

Does anyone know of any bases that might work for me?
