  1. I have just created some basic text but the line is to long and won't display it all in-game, when I go back to the event and see the text I thought I could just simply right click and select edit to change it so it is on the next line down where people can actually use it. This is prob a stupid question but I'm just starting up a game, BTW Do I have have to just redo the char because it wont even let me delete the events?

Right click on the line that says Text (that's the start of the event) and choose Edit. The line that actually HAS your first bit of text is actually the second line of the command. So you're just selecting the wrong one to edit. Would be nice if the editor would just detect that itself, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

In the text window, you have two little arrows at the top. They show how much text you can add before it will be too long. The first arrow is available space if you are showing a face with the text. The second arrow is available space if you are not showing a face.
  3. Thanks very much!

However this is harder to see if you are using text commands like \c[#] for color. then you have to use the preview button to see what text fits and doesn't
  5. absolutely. And there are issues with the preview button too, if you are using a script to alter the message box in any way.
