Lighting up tiles as you walk

Hi just browsing the forum , iv only just got RPG maker and dont know about scripting , is there a way i can make say a dungeon that is totally in black tiles but when you move it the tile in front appears similar to fog of war but 1 tile in the direction you are walking ? Thanks i should have made a new thred but i have before and no one answered

Not that I'm aware of but there are a few lighting plugins that allow you to customize a small visible area around your character if you want. The rest of the screen, if there are no other light sources, just show up black.
