War was common place for the continent of Varmillion. The most recent was between two kings over ownership of a cow that crossed borders. Even so, none had seen the devistation that was caused by the searing. A force from beyond the sea came in and lay ruin to over half of the lands before they were turned away by "The Divine."
The Devine were an army of soldiers who entered into contracts with the Gods for the power to defend their homeland, but it drained them of their essence. While many of The Devine died horrid deaths, those that survived became beings that could no longer live with their human friends and went into exile.
With the wars, rumors of contact with some of these beings are becoming more common, sending fears amongst the people that The Legions may return... But what are concerns of the people when their kings are fighting over a cow?
::The Story Starts::
While on a long range scouting patrol in enemy lands, A soldier scout and his two squad mates come across an enemy town leveled and burned. Not survivors were found, but strange prints were found in the ground, melted into stone. When they decide to report back, they are confronted by enemy troops that seemed to be running from something. When they flee the enemy and return home, the capitol, castle and all, were in the same ruin as the village, and enemy forces now in occupation of what did remain. Again they must flee from being captured. While returning, the hear the castle had already fallen, and that a large enemy force is invading a nearby town, and set off to defend it. Along the way, they run into an in jured Valkyrie whom they rescue, but she seems more interested in her rescuers. Now, with the help of a local militia, for a troop to regain some control of the land.
Now the three must decide what to do, while rescuing what fellow soldiers they can.
::Gameplay~Battles:: (Visuals to come)
>>Battles are fought auto-battle, meaning how you set up your characrters will affect how well your squad performs.
>>Initially you will have the main character and 2 additional troops in a 1 x 3 FRONTLINE formation.
>>As you gain other main charcters, they, and their 2 additional troops will form your 2nd BACKLINE.
>>While you can class up you initial 2 aditional troops, you backline troops will level and class up in design with their companion leader.
>>Frontline troops will have more TGR (targeting agro) then backline, so they will be attacked more often, and suffer a minor debuff in defenses, while geing buffed in attack values.
>>Likewise, BACKLINE combatants will suffer slightly in attack values, speed, and a buff in defense values.
>>Diffenent classes will act differently wether they are frontline or backline.
Example: a priest FRONTLINE can will cast a single heal per turn, but can cast 2-3 when backline
Example: A Paladin FRONTLINE will use a slash attack, while will cast a holy magic attack BACKLINE.
>>With script update, you will learn battle skills as you level, but may require specific weapons to use.
>>A normal encounter will last 5 turns, with you earning exp and gold based on performance.
>>Boss battles will play through, but you will be able to refight it.

Male and Female class advancement with different weapon availabilities and will also adjust the skills used in battle in some cases.
