Which do you prefer, taking into account customization to compatibility ratio? I'm thinking all of them looks great with Holder-style battlers, right?
Kread's Animated Battlers vs. Yami's Battle Symphony vs. Victor's Animated Battle

Both of them have good compatibility with systems from what I know of. I personally used Kread's for a while. Symphony is stronger in a sense of automatic actions while Kread's requires you to do everything manually as it uses battle animations (which is my type of work). So really, it depends on how you want to do it. And both sideviews are compatible with each other as well.

What about Victor's? You said both, meaning you compared only two?
-
I missed the Victor one oops. To be honest I don't know anything about his battle system. I do know that he's pretty inactive in terms of bug fixing though? I'm not sure.
-
It's also well aware that he does not often help those who have trouble setting his scripts up properly. (back when he was active) He is a very "serious" person. So if you would need help on it, you would have to find another user which is also a bit rare. (most people use the other scripted sideviews as far as I believe) Also his Core module script is often known for compatibility issues.

Yeah, I noticed that too when I was browsing his blog. Pretty scary as you one wrong question and he might ignore you forever lol.I guess I'll have to decide between Kread's and Yami's.

Just letting you know that there is an alternative sideview battle script on my signature. If you ever need support, I'm always avalaible.

The reason I ignored it was because I thought it was only for Tankentai sprites. Or it really is?Just letting you know that there is an alternative sideview battle script on my signature. If you ever need support, I'm always avalaible.

I see ... it's actually has free format spriteset. Though, it would be easier to work in Kaduki (it's not tankentai) sprite format. It would be a bit troublesome since holder format has many rows.
Well, back to topic. I never tried these three, but I recommend Symphony more. Why?
You already have many supports, most of people are familiar with it. High compatibility (perhaps?), and already have holder addon if I recall correctly
Kread's one uses animations. Of course you need to rearrange the spriteset, another extra work?
Victor's is out of question. His script may powerful, but lack of support from the original creator. And may have a bad compatibility among various script. -
Hmm. That makes sense. Symphony is winning obviously winning now. Nevertheless, I'll try Kread's too. Thanks for the help, I might try yours in the future.

Tankentai is a good battle system and have good support for it just a little complex to use in begin but if you want a lot of skill customization tankentai is a good one
also tankentai support easily custom charset but like kread ex need to be manually settle in begin but after you finally settle basic setup this work like a charm -
Yeah I noticed. Is it fully written in english? Off-topic: Why are the links in your sig not working? I'd like to check out some of them heheTankentai is a good battle system and have good support for it just a little complex to use in begin but if you want a lot of skill customization tankentai is a good one

Tankentai is fully written in English. I would recommended you to use Wishdream's translation over Elise's. He added extra information and the instruction formating itself is very readable.
