I can't find this script anywhere, I've looked around the internet and I still can't seem to locate it, it looks really neat, is it even released? If anyone knows where to find it let me know! Thanks in advanced! :D

I don't think that there is a special script - if you look carefully, it is a video that ends in a regular map scene of a parallaxed map. There is a slight color shift when it moves from the video with the 3D-renders to the map.
There is no 3D-engine like that for RM - but I have to admit, that trailer is very good at the transitions between the game engine and videos - most probably they have their own video player for that.
But a lot of that trailer is just a custom rendered 3D-Movie, not a 3D-gaming engine.
However, the entire game looks like custom build - and if I put that much work into a game to sell it, I wouldn't release the neccessary scripts to anyone else (unless they might plan to sell them) -
What about 1:04?
That rotation is pretty crazy.
And the animations all line up as well (snow particles at the beginning, the red glowing lamp thing, etc) -
Hello rpgmakerweb.com! I am the creator of this project. (Renaud, aka Kayser/Kayz) I read this forum almost every week since a long time and will probably put a lot more in the future.
Actually it is not technically a video, I am kind of afraid about videos, it doesn't work well in full screen sometime (I have a script to be in fullscreen without black stripes with wide screens, Koruldia is in 16/9 ratio), and you need to ask the player to have special codecs and stuff, it's unsafe. And of course there is bad/blurry "compression artifacts" on videos sometime, I don't really like it inside of a game. It would be impossible to access the database of RPG MAKER when a video is playing, or to put a (multi-languages) dialogue-box above it, doing QTE stuff etc. Something I can do with my method.it is a video that ends in a regular map scene of a parallaxed map
I'm working on the next REAL video about the game, it's better than this now. Seamless 3D/2D and better show of features and story elements. (you can have a glimpse of it by looking for #koruldia on twitter/facebook)

In time I will probably do some tutorials about how to do stuff like that, indeed there is a script involved (the name is "Jiritsu"), but the big deal is not exactly about a "technical thing" (more like a "graphic-designer gimmick") my script is only about 80-100 lines long haha, you can find information about it in french on the dev-forum (here) but I don't know if google translator will do a good job about it. Don't worry I will translate (and update) it when the time will come.
edit: Sorry to be very busy with the "game presentation video" so I can't spend too much time on forums, but soon I'll come back with more when I will be able to rest a little bit from this "dev-madness". -
So from google translate it sounds like VX is used to make the game, and jiritsu is used to make it look good? Is it a game player or a game editor (or both)?
-
I wrote this at a time I was still using the "regular" VX (if you check the date on youtube about the tech-vid you'll see VX ACE was 6 months away from release in Japan, and I was living there at the time so I bought it straight away 6 months later, mostly for the box-art lol), that's why I should update this text a little bit, it is still mostly relevant though.
That was quite "convenient" to move the game from VX to VX ACE (they are pretty close), and I have better performances with ACE so that was a good idea to move. (I bought ACE in US version too on Steam, more convenient)
And, yes "Jiritsu" is a little script (and mostly a method/an idea done with regular “script call” like the good old “event-code” from my RPG MAKER 2k childhood) to handle a big amount of multi-"parallaxed" sprites, and load (lossless) compressed sprites without any freeze/loading-time, in computer RAM.
(well, I should not go too much into details with only boring text, better do it in the future when I have time to do a youtube video to explain, it's part of many other gimmicks after all)
I’m glad to finally speak to you Tsukihime, I know some of your work and blog. Thanks for your contributions, there are many uplifting things out there, things that make me confident about the future of the engine I use for this overwhelming project. It’s always good for motivation. Now it's time to go back to work and finish my new video, I think october may be a good month. :) -
That video looks amazing! You should make a project development thread so we can watch your game take shape :)
-
I will do it Shaz, I was just waiting for the next video which is a full presentation (with fights and puzzles, dialogues and stuff), so I can show it and people will have a clear view of the project with a single 4 min long video.
(you can sub2 the chan so you don't miss the video ^o^)
Between this tech-video and early 2014 I had to work on other stuff to save money, it's good to be able to work on it again (full time now), and eventually do a development thread so you guys will see the game taking shape indeed.
In the meanwhile you can do so by following Twitter or Facebook (#koruldia), every week (at least) I do an update, that's how you can have new stuff like that:

Maps like Final Fantasy 7 - 8 - 9 where you can go in depth (the sprite becomes smaller with distance like you can see in the video in front of the "ice cave"), sometime you have a map like this and the next one is a regular "top-down" map like in FF6, and sometime you see the camera moving from 2D to 3D seamless into a single map, but you already know that. ;) -
Andar just got rekt.
-
Oh wow, the video is really cool! Can't wait to see more of this, good luck for you :)

RPG Maker forum is really interesting sometimes. Yes, you (Kayser) should make a development log / journal so we can follow your progress. This thing is a brand new for RPG Maker community I think :)
-
(Thanks for the encouragement, everybody)
Sure, I will do this as soon as I have this proper video-presentation of the game. (it's good to come here and see many names I'm already familiar with !^^! I know you from your scripts, great job btw!)RPG Maker forum is really interesting sometimes. Yes, you (Kayser) should make a development log / journal so we can follow your progress. Hopefully one of the goals I want to achieve will be already possible with this video-presentation:
To prove people outside the RPG Maker community that you can almost do whatever you want with RM and you don’t necessarily need a super “Cry-Unreanity-Tek” engine.
I see too many players judging RM games on graphics (especially when it’s RTP or RTP-like assets), and they see RPG Maker sometime as an easy “automatic RPG generator” or a toy like Minecraft.
Too many times I read (about RM games): “It’s just RPG Maker, I can do it too, put that garbage away from greenlight!”
Sad reputation. As an advanced user of Construct2 I know that it would be a real pain to make an RPG with it, I really love Construct and it’s a great software too, but RPG Maker is still in my opinion one of the best choice to make a turn based RPG, it gives us the Data Base we need and many other sweet shortcuts.
Players should respect (or just ignore) the software and only judge the games, not RPG Maker.
Well, that’s one of the things I want to say with Koruldia, it would be positive for everybody in the RM community if our beloved software has a better reputation, that's why I never hide myself from using RM. :)
