Hello everyone!
I'm currently working on a game whose first scene introduces the main character and his sister defending their home town from a kobold attack. Later the heroes will be facing the kobolds and their chieftain in their lair. Here's where I need someone's help. RPG Maker VX Ace did not come with any battlers that could be used as a kobold type creature. I am looking for someone who can make some battlers for a kobold warrior, a kobold mage, a kobold shaman and of course the big, bad kobold chieftain. Here is a detailed description of the kobold society (I hope it helps) and each of the four battlers listed above:
Kobold Society
Long before the events of the game there was a struggle between humans and dragons for control of the land. The humans won the conflict, and the dragons were nearly wiped out. The surviving dragons, in order to avoid extinction, went into hiding in far away places either where the humans couldn't survive or couldn't reach. Many centuries later, kobolds, humanoids with dragon like features began to pop up in many regions of the world. No one knows where they came from or how they came into existence. Even the kobolds themselves don't really know, but they claim to be descendents of the ancient great dragons changed by their new environment. The dragon like features include a dragon's snout and horns and a forked, snakelike tounge, claws and talons with large nails, scales instead of skin, scaly dragon wings and a thick, bladed dragon tale. Like human heroes their bodies are very muscular, but keep in mind that they have scales instead of skin. All of the decision making is done by the chieftain yet he relies on his shamans for their wisdom, his mages for their intellect and his warriors for their might. And of course they have a fierce hatred of humans. Their eyes are characterized by a soft yellow glow and there are small ridges on their spine.
Kobold Warrior
In addition to the above features, kobold warriors don heavy armor made of iron. The armor accentuates the pectoral muscles and does not cover the arms at all, and the ridges on the spine poke through. The shoulder plates are characterized by spikes. The armor covering the lower half of the body has a similar design to that used by human knights. The armor does not cover the feet, but instead the talons are uncovered. Their weapon of choice is a two handed greatsword, almost as large as their own body. The pose of the battler should have the kobold standing with one foot in fron of the other, turned to the side a bit and holding his greatword in both hands (claws) so that the pommel is near his face and the blade points toward the player and downward. He should be snarling and his eyes should be glowing.
Kobold Mage
Kobold mages, while still ferocious, are not lacking in intelligence. Instead of the heavy armor preferred by the warriors, they wear robes that are the same color as their scales and adorned with complex geometrical designs. The trim around the wrists, neck, waist and ankles should be black. Instead of a greatsword they carry a large spell tome in one hand and a crystal in the other. When used the crytal generates a glyph in front of the mage. The glyph looks much like a kite shield but is semi-transparent and has geometrical designs on it as well. The pose for the mage should be with his right arm, holding the tome, outstretched to the side, the tome open and a soft light coming from it and the other arm with the crytsal outstretched in front of him with the glyph activated. He should have an arrogant look on his face with his chin turned slightly upward and should be directly facing the player.
Kobold Shaman
These guys are a bit easier. The only clothing they wear is a brown waistcloth that goes from the waist to the ankles, a necklace adorned with the skulls of their enemies (mostly human) and a brown walking stick. Their pose should be with one foot in fron of the other with their bodies turned to the side just like the warrior with his walking stick held parallel to his body. He whould look wise, and he should have his left claw underneath his chin like a human male would have stroking his beard.
Kobold Chieftain
Our chieftain should look similar to the warriors, except that his horns are larger, his muscles are larger and he is capable of wielding his greatsword in one hand. In his other hand he wields a spell tome. He is also taller than the other kobolds by about one foot. His stance should be facing directly forward with one foot forward, his greatsword crossed over his body and his other arm resting on the greatsword with the tome open. His eyes should be glowing and narrowed and he should look determined and relentless.
I hope that's a good enough description. The battler images should be about 192 pixels tall, with the chieftain image 256 pixels tall. The scale color should be red. If you would like to you can do different poses and different scale colors (blue, green, brown, white and black), but it isn't necessary. If you have any questions let me know. If you choose to take on this request you have my sincerest gratitude. Let me know if there is anything I can do in return to help you with any project you might be working on.

Were you wanting animated or static battlers? It also sounds like these are sideview battlers, no?
When you said the armor accentuates the pectorals, does it not cover the abdomen (like with football padding?) Or is it closer to a breastplate with pecs sculpted into it and an unsculpted area over the abdomen? -
Hello captainproton,
Thank you for the reply.
I would like static battlers please. And they are for a front view/default battle system. The armor is a breastplate that covers the pectorals and abdomen, with the pectorals sculpted into it. -
I'll see what I can whip up for you.

Thank you very much!
