Just curious

  1. Well this isn't really a resource request, but since I didn't see anywhere else to put it I figured here would be the best place. Anyways, I was just curious to know if the VX Ace battler sprites are useable in any way in VX because A LOT of the battlers are way prettier in Ace than their VX counterparts. Anyone know?
  2. Yes, they are! You can import them via the resources manager or just copy them straight into your project folder.

As long as you've paid for them, you have the rights to use them in any program in the "Maker" series.

Good to know. I actually thought it would be a good idea if the makers of the game set up an online store for things like that. Battlers, icons, tilesets, & the like. Heck if they were good they'd probably make more money from doing that than selling the software! Lol.
  4. There WILL be resources like this added to the online store, but they'll be from Degica (and created by staff on this forum), rather than Enterbrain (though EB has also released resource packs for sale).

You can also join Member+ and get access to more resources, or free access to some of the for-sale resources.
  5. You can essentially use any image as a battler or sprite, it doesn't have to be from an RPG Maker program. You can draw something yourself or use something you find (assuming you aren't stealing) and simply import it through the resource manager or stick in your project's folder.
