Hello guys,
one question in mind, probably a very noob one, but we are trying to make a game with an event which has to fall from a cliff. We tried the Jump option (Define Movement Route), we set both X and Y coordinates but still the jump movement is way too fast, we also tried with Set Movement Speed before the Jump option. It seems that something changes but we want to make this movement even slower, is there a way to customize the speed in general or more specifically the jump speed?

The following may be what you are doing, but I'm putting it in because the terms you use "Define Movement Route", "Set Movement Speed" are not the ones I see when I do this sort of thing, so I'm wondering if you are going about it a different way.
If you are using the "Set Move Route" on the second tab of the event command menu, you will see at the bottom of the middle column "Change Speed" and "Change Frequency". Do your adjusting with these at the beginning of the move route you set. This adjusts all and every movement of that event until you tell it to do something else. -
It's probably either a non-official translation of the japanese version or a non-official translation...
anyway, if you want more control I guess you could use script calls to edit the values with more freedom... -
Ok thanks for the suggestion KSJp17 and Engr. Adiktuzmiko. I tried to do what you suggested and the speed slows down a bit but not too much. Is there a way to change the default script that sets movement speed?

you cannot change the one used by the interface without breaking the EULA but I'm sure you can just use whatever script call that command uses directly on a script call line instead so that you can slow it down more... if I understood the question correctly

Guys the situation is this one:
1) Player talks to an event
2) Battle starts
3) After the battle (which is at the top of a tower) the event "jumps off" the tower like he's falling
4) Problem is... he falls so damn fast! -
Maybe you can do it with a Move route, at slow speed and Through ON ?

Can you show us a screenshot of your event? If it's a long one, just make sure the bit where you jump is visible, along with the few lines beforehand (where you change the movement options). Also make sure you include the whole event window, not just the command list.

Guys thank you for your support and suggestions! Great forum indeed! At the end we put a parallel process not with jump but with move down with graphic change of a dead body (looks like the old NES games and the worst games that mr. AVGN reviews badly) :rock-left: :rock-right:
Thanks again! TOPIC CLOSED :D -
