I don't know how much I'll have to contribute, but if anyone wants to use this, they are welcome. So far I was inspired by Blithe's attempt to make my own Snow Forest Battleback, which I think actually looks pretty good.

Snagged it!
:D -
My suggestion is to, instead of overlaying a color, add snow in patches. Realistically speaking, the trees themselves wouldn't be completely covered from top to bottom in snow. Gravity works, at least in my game it does :p
The thought is good though. I might actually try doing this very same thing myself. Appreciate the share and hope to see you improve as you give more to the community. -
Thanks! You should do it - mine was an improvement of Blithe's, and yours would be an improvement of mine. :) I wouldn't know how to do that kind of thing; I just created this by experimenting with the colorization settings in GIMP. But I agree, it would look better if the trees weren't completely covered.

Nice AH ref. :D

well, it works if you have an instantly frozen area where everything just got frozen or when you might encounter a frozen boss that freezes up the area. Work is very much appreciated. Although my game is in the desert I am picking this with me for inspiration and the file is going to my archive. Thnx!
