    Not sure really about this prompt. Went through a few ideas in my head and ultimately ended up with this. The person was supposed to be giving a confused gesture (like hey - these controls are complicated!) but it didn't quite turn out that way.

    For this one, I started out wanting to have an over-the-shoulder perspective of Perseus about to face Medusa, but was not digging it in the end. Then I wanted to take Perseus, turn him into a Roman soldier and have him face off against a Cyclops. Then I set the Cyclops on fire and turned it into an odd fire giant. Not sure how this one got away from me, but I was pretty happy with how the soldier's arm sweat came out.

    Fine work, with Rivalry being my favorite so far. Reminds me of that famous scene in John Woo's The Killer.

    Thanks for the kind words everyone. I particularly like Rivalry as well. 

    When I took an art class in college (I was an English major, so this was just to fill some extra credits), I learned one thing from the teacher: out of every 10-20, even 100 pieces of art you produce, maybe one will be any good. I imagine that many of my pictures are gonna miss their mark, but once in a great while one will hit just right.

    I've managed to build up a whole back story in my head about entry 5.  That's the mark of a good picture, that it stimulates one's imagination.

    Tried something new with this one and created it completely in GIMP without any models or anything to help. Not really sure what I was going for, was mostly just playing with different brushes and layer effects.
