Synopsis:
Jennifer’s Nightmare is a supplemental project to a larger game I’ve been working on for a long time. I came up with the idea for Halloween, so this is a horror game based on an action adventure game.
Jennifer is in a strange world and has lost her memories. While trying to reclaim her memories she found herself in a thick forest during a downpour. She seeks refuge in a cabin and reflects on all she’s been through. She’s beginning to lose her way and having doubt she will ever reclaim her memories and find a way home.
When she wakes up in the middle of the night disturbing things start happening and she finds herself in a living nightmare. Throughout this journey she will discover many things about her, and her past, as she tries to get back on the right path to find her way home.
Quick Note:
I need to get this game finished up to chapter 2 by October 30th so I can present it to my mental health group. If I decide to pick up work on it again for next year or the years following I'll make a new thread for the full project.
What I need:
- Voice actors: I need voices for at least 5 characters. The main character is being handled by @Kaeki. She's doing an amazing job from the samples she sent me. There is also a man that guides Jennifer, the main character, and two more characters that have short screen time that sound like kids. The last one I'd like to be a collection of voices or a reverberation of a male voice. I'll provide a link to the script written in Google Docs (still a wip).
- Sound FX: I want to add footsteps into the game. Yanfly made an amazing plugin for that but I don't have the SE I need. I tried recording sounds of grass and wood, but they didn't turn out good and I need more than just those two. Single steps is preferable. The surfaces I need include: wet grass, wood, stone/concrete and metal/grating. Edit: I forgot I also need carpet.
- Graphics: The climax of Chapter 2 will have Jennifer confronting an evil entity. I plan for the entity to appear as a large figure appearing from the bottom of the screen. Therefore he will be hidden from the shoulders down behind the floor. As for his appearance, think of the character that the band Disturbed uses often. A face hidden under a hood with glowing eyes and a big, jagged grin. I'd like to be able to animate the face to show different expressions.

It has better, more in depth character descriptions.
My part: I'll be putting everything together. For this short version of the game there's not a whole lot left to do. Mostly I just need a few resources to finish it up. If I decide to continue it next year I'll make a new thread and get the community more involved.
I really hope I can get some help on this short notice. I'll understand if no one will be help with such short time. Thanks in advance for any help or advice.
