UPDATE: I have bought RPG Maker MV and I love it! ...Which sadly means, I will not be adding any more assets to this thread. I might open a resource thread on the MV forums, so say hello to me there!
Hello!
I am Jeipi, I've only just registered recently but I've been lurking on and off since rpg maker xp...
For my first post, I thought I'd share stuff with you guys. The following resources were compiled, frankensteined or in very rare cases made from scratch by me. You can use them for free, no need to credit me.
(You should credit whoever else you need to credit though.)
Lets get this started!
1. RTP Style compilation of Elves

Changed my mind and thought the pinky-purpley cape was a bit too femenine for this guy.

Note: These were all done using http://tkool.rgr.jp/maker some RTP sprites and a little photoshop

I always thought this "evil" character in the RTP would make a good thief.
I boosted his purples, gave him an RTP face, and changed his Portrait body to the Soldier one (because ive always thought it fits him better, too)
He even has his matching gloves! :)
Again, you dont need to credit me, but I'm not sure who was/were the original authors of the 3 RTP-like portraits I used

I don't know if someone did this before but working with iconsets can get frustrating if you dont know where one icon begins and another one ends. I made this grid to help myself and I thought I'd share it.
Quick explanation:
Go to Resource Manager and Export your IconSet

You should have the RTP icons in a .png file.
Open those up in an editing program of your choice (photoshop, et al) and put this image in a layer below it:

You should now clearly see a helping grid beneath the iconset you are working with.
Dont forget to delete or hide the grid layer before you add your icons to your game, though!
