Item specification and actor effected help.

  1. Hi everyone I have a character whos name is beast. When you kill random enemies in the game they drop their soul lets say a rat for example you kill it and it drops rat soul. When I go into my item menu and select rat soul and use it on beast he becomes a rat and U loose the rat soul.my question is how do I make it so that when I select the item ONLY beast is target able or s electable when selecting it. I want it so that you cant even use it on anybody who is not beast. I hope I explained that properly any help would be deeply appreciated.
  2. You would need some kind of targeting script. I know there are some out there, so maybe search the master script list?


    If you can't find one, say so and I'll see how difficult it will be to pull the one I use out of my game and into its own script for you. (I'm just not offering to do it straight away because my time is limited and you might be able to find one in the script list that does exactly what you need and might be more flexible than mine)

  4. I've seen a number of very similar requests, and I'm pretty sure the response has usually been either a link to a script or a suggestion of one.
  5. Are you using any other scripts that affect how items are stored (like individual items), or used (item menus, battle scripts)?

  6. Ok I found the perfect script for this its called the class items script. I am using a tsukihime class graphic change script that does not seem to be working though that changes the graphic. I put the correct info in the note box is their a tutorial on that script somewhere. I found the instructions left in the script very confusing and non explanatory.
