Is there a way to make pictures overlap blank spaces?

  1. That title sounds really confusing. Let me explain.
    Because of the way my map is formatted, I have empty spaces.

    And while the text box overlaps these spaces, pictures don't.

    Is there some way I can change it so that pictures overlap these blank spaces? Is so, how?

    (Sorry if this confusing at all)
  2. You've used a command to resize the window, but you haven't changed the map size to compensate. A 640x480 map requires 20x15 tiles. If you just enlarge the default size of your map, the pictures will be aligned to the left.


    I don't recall whose script that is, but I recognize it because it centres the smaller map in the window.

    I think that's Yanfly's Battle Engine script.

    To OP: You'll need to resize all the battle backround pics, title screen, and such or change the size back to the reg size in the script.
  4. It sounds familiar. I know it's commonly used, and I had to make a mod to my mouse script because of it, because several people were using them both and getting "offsets" when trying to click things with the mouse.
