Is there a way to emulate the functionality of the Help window?

  1. The way I have my battle system set up, the player is prompted to select a key item (via the aptly named "select key item" event).  The problem is that there's no on-screen indication as to what each of these items is or does, besides their names.  Looking at the actual key item menu (the default one, not an event), there's a help window that populates with the item's description as you highlight it.  Something like this would be tremendously helpful in battle!

    Does anyone know of a way to do this?  If not displaying the "help window" as it exists in the menu screen, then at least being able to run *any* kind of event based on what the player has highlighted, before they've actually made their selection?

    It might be a bit of a complex question, but something like this would dramatically improve the fun factor of my game, I think. :cutesmile:
