Hi there. Six months ago while figuring out how to change window skins for the first time, I accidentally deleted the default Window skin in the RTP folder. (Yeah, I learned I should import new window skins since then)
Now realising I deleted the default, I asked a friend who told me I should "uninstall and reinstall the RTP". He also told me not to uninstall the programme itself, just the RTP. I'm using Windows XP so when I went to the Control Panel, I don't exactly see the line RTP, but do find something called "RGSS-RTP Standard".
Is this what I'm supposed to remove? I would appreciate any help a kind soul can give me!

yes - or you can simply reinstall the RTP by starting the setup for the RTP (that can be downloaded top right on this site)

Thanks for the reply, Andar! I got Ace through Steam, and when I downloaded the RTP from the site, it's asking if I want to install through: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Enterbrain\RGSS3\RPGVXAce
Should I agree, or choose the RPGVXAce folder in Steam instead? -
if you got ace through steam, simply remove and reinstall the program.
If you have a lot of DLC or Workshop content, it will probably need a few hours for synchronisation before Ace could be started again, but you won't loose anything in the process.
Otherwise, install the regular RTP to the path given, then search there for the missing or changed files and copy them from there to the correct path before deinstalling the RTP again. -
Andar, thank you for your help! I decided to install to Desktop and just take what was missing, then uninstalled it through that handy installer :)
