Installation and resource question

Hello: I'm new to the forum and to the RPGMaker scene as a whole so I have an out of the cage question. I just bought the recent humble bundle rpgmaker bundle that comes with multiple version and resources for all the versions included as well as a few games. Do I have to install all the RPGMakers to use all of the resources or can I just install MV and the plugins? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

If they are given as steam keys, the DLCs for each maker can only be installed if you have the appropriate maker installed too coz thats how steam DLCs work. If its a non-steam version, you can install them without that requirement.

Thanks for the reply. They are indeed steam keys now the second question if you dont mind me asking what if I copy paste from one rpgmaker (vx) to the other, would that work?

yes, that would work and be legal - as said above it is the way steam handles the DLC that requires the program to be installed, otherwise they're just files.

However, depending on what files you might have to reformat them manually to work in a different maker, for example the tiles in MV are 50% greater than the tiles for VXA.
