  1. Exactly what the title said. So, anyone here watched it?

    Movie Info:

    Spoiler
Indie Game: The Movie, directed by James Swirsky and Lisanne Pajot, looks at the underdogs of the video game industry, indie game developers, who sacrifice money, health and sanity to realize their lifelong dreams of sharing their creative visions with the world. This Sundance award-winning film captures the tension and drama by focusing on these artists' vulnerability and obsessive quest to express themselves through a 21st-century art form. -- © Official Site
I think its a great documentary for developers and gamers alike so I thought of trying to share it with you all especially to those who haven't seen/heard about it yet.

Edit: Crud. I accidentally posted it in the wrong sub-forum. Can this be moved to the appropriate one? Thanks in advance, mods. :)
  2. It has been a while, but I did see it and I enjoyed it. For me, it was a reminder that you accomplish things by working hard, not by wishing hard. I know that's kind of a "well, duh" thing to say, but it's really easy to get discouraged when I'm neck-deep in something and it feels like I will never be able to finish it.

Have you seen the extended edition or DLC or whatever extra stuff they added? I have it on Steam, but I haven't had a chance to watch it yet.
  3. I watched it a while ago and felt really sorry for the developer of Fez. Poor guy.

Yeah, this is actually the reason why I got into starting to make a game. I always wanted to make one(anything)how ever simple it may be, but these guys, despite having no idea how their games will do in the market sacrificed a lot just to release their games.

True, although, I remember reading somewhere that Fez sold a million copies, so it's still a happy ending for Fez and Fish. :)

Except Fez II is cancelled forever now.
  6. I haven't watched it and have no intentions of watching it since I dislike Team Meat and Jonathan Blow, and I hate Phil Fish. And I also dislike indie platformers.

Considering his attitude and all the things he's said, I don't.
  7. I felt like he just had too much pressure on him the whole time and it was probably just not helpful at all to have that kind of pressure added with his own personality.
  8. I didn't even know they make this movie
  9. Ugh, i do NOT feel sorry for phil fish. Id express more but pretty sure dis forum isnt for people bashing.
