In need of a Drag and Grab event, and a mail system.

So, I'm looking for someone who wouldn't mind making two different scripts, or just one, depending on their interest, that I am looking to add to my game.

The two scripts would function as followed:

Grab and Drag Script: Tag events with a grab/drag comment that would allow the player to grab the event from whichever side (specified or not) and drag it to desired location while keeping the direction the player is facing fixed. I would prefer this than the old push rock from spot A to spot B. There are other uses that I would like to get out of this script that I would make more sense than just pushing something to where you'd like it to go.

Mail System: Basically, create a scene/menu of it's own where you can receive mail whenever you complete something, whether it be a quest or a reward sent to you for doing something special, like defeating a secret boss or something. The mail would have text and other things attached to it such as items, weapons, armors, gold, increase a variable, flip a switch, etc, depending on how you note tag it or comment it or whatever. The mail could be created in the form of items and the note tags could be used there, if possible. It's basically like a reward system, but instead of being sent directly to the player, it is sent to his/her mailbox for viewing/picking up later instead. Perfect type of thing for those who are making a harvest moon type game or something similar.

I will greatly appreciate it if anyone who is interested in doing some scripting but hasn't had any ideas/interest in other types of scripts that wouldn't mind doing these for me. It would serve the general public as well. I'm not sure the complexity of these things, but again, would greatly appreciate it if anyone could create these scripts.

You can easily do the mail system in Eventing.Like this :

A long, long, long time ago, in the dark times of my scripting, I made a mail system. Let me warn you now, it is terrible, but it was the first script I released publicly. I've been meaning to remake it, but haven't gotten around to it. If you really want to use it, you can get it here. It's probably the only mail script on here (I haven't seen or heard of any others), but it is absolutely terrible, and doesn't support everything you want.

An updated Mail script with the requested added features would be pretty awesome. Would be great if you could re-make it with said added features, though that's just me wishing.

Not sure if this is still actual or you found it already, but for a grab and drag system (and more), I recommend Vlue's Field Abilities script.


That one does what you want just fine.

Thanks but I've commissioned someone to make one specifically for my current project. Vlue's caused many incompatibility issues, but it's where I got the main idea from originally after trying it out in his master demo.
