Im New!! (artist)

Hey everyone!

I'm new the site and RPG Maker! What I'm not new to is art. I do Animation (2D and 3D) and Illustration. I'm looking to make some contacts and maybe help out with some of your projects! Where is the best place to get in contact with people and help? I'm really interested in making video games and I work way better in a team environment. If I'm alone I don't get as excited about working on projects. I use Skype primarily for communication and dropbox for resource sharing.

Very nice! You've got really solid composition and mood. It's a bit rough otherwise, but that's okay. People who can do backgrounds well are rare, you'll be getting offers to join games before you know it.

Welcome. Looking at your art I thought that one thing (among others, of course) that you could offer in a workshop is backgrounds for title screens. There's always need of backgrounds to put behind logos.

I went and posted over in project recruitment! Thanks for the welcome guys! I'm still shuffling through all the forum topics.

Be prepared for at least some requests from people who don't realise the amount of work involved.  We regularly see requests for tilesets - obviously the people don't know the months (literally) that it takes to create a tileset.  Or people who think that because you do one form of artwork, you can do all forms.  You might want to make your opening post there quite specific about the type of work you can do.

Thanks for the heads up! I see what you mean already. I'm still learning the technical stuff. Trying to figure out how Ace reads png for certain resources. These formus + youtube + google is great!
