Hello guys,
Tomorrow is April Fools day. So, does anyone plan on trolling their friends or family? I am thinking of telling some lies and/or jokes to some of my friends. Problem is, I don't have any ideas and I am also afraid I might come across as a creep instead. So anyone has any bright ideas they want to share?
I'm curious to see how clever you guys are. After all, we have a thread for best/worst pickup lines. Why not have a thread for best/worst April Fools jokes? :stickytongue:

My favorite April Fools Day "pranks" is when you make one food look like another. A meatloaf cake, jello drink something that everyone can enjoy without being an !@#$% about it. I think too many pranks only make the person doing it laugh rather than people enjoying it together. I did that to my father one year and he loved it! ^_^ Next is desert that looks like dinner! Although, my dad won't be around to see that.

Considering April's Fools Day coincides with Easter this year, I suppose it would be hilariously inappropriate to replace the sacramental wine with prune juice, and the communion wafers with paper maché. :p
More seriously, though, a great prank (if you can bear the subsequent scorn) for those places where an easter egg hunt is tradition, tell the kids you've hidden 40 eggs around the house... except you never hid any eggs at all. ;) -
tooth paste under the door handles, stram wrap the toilet seat...

I love the type of pranks that are just carefully crafted hoaxes, things you look at, are confused why the hell would someone... and then realise it was a joke.
I prepare an April Fool's prank every year, mostly just a single one. That's all I do, besides that I love to browse and search for the other little hoaxes that were set up. So far I had:

RPG Maker Gameboy (just released on German boards, here are the images) (2016)

SpoilerIt came with a full background story about horrible delays and how this was supposed to be the first maker ever but came out now because of techical problems.

So I would go with some carefully prepared "fake news", make an image of a fake homepage with your article and show it fully shocked to family and friends, or similar^^ -
Pranks can be done to your family members, or people you actually meet. What about your friends who you don't see over the weekend? I was thinking of sending them troll messages, something like "I hate you so I will kill myself and come back as a ghost to haunt you :LZSevil:" or whatever nonsense like that.
Well, the last time I joked about that to a girl... :kaoswt2:
So any troll messages you guys are going to send to your online friends? The RPG Maker Gameboy hoax gives me an idea: photoshop an article of my university closing down for whatever reason and send it around. But that'd take a while.
Gonna go on Reddit now and see what they have.
I remember a few years ago, I made a thread about how CP Book of Shadows would be localized before it was official on XSEED Forum. Some people actually fell for it. Good times. -
I'm working, and it's Easter. I plan on greeting people with 'Trick or Treat', 'Merry Christmas', or 'Happy Valentine's Day'.

isn't it a funny prank for 4/1 :p

Well, my April Fools jokes that I came up with this morning is Amiibo Support for VX Ace. Though technically, I'm guessing that actual Amiibos are against board policies so you probably have to make your own figurines.

A bit cruel, but a fake positive pregnancy test!

This is still my favorite April fools prank video:
On the subject of pranks, i still remember when someone convinced an entire class when I was in elementary school that the national anthem for Siam was Owa Tagu Siam, sung over and over to the tune of America the Beautiful. Yep, he had us all singing "Oh, what a goose I am", which is what that says if you say it at proper speed.
