I can't find out how to actually use the resources from the forum

Hello,
Very new to RPG maker. Maybe my google-fu is not very good, but I cannot find out how to actually use the resources on your website.

What I am looking for specifically:

1) Some content creators let you able to download material from something like dropbox. I understand this. However after I download, I am having problems activating them. For example, I downloaded Kaiwewi's assets for children and placed them in the folder where I saw the other kid assets and it didn't show up.

2) Other content creators just have pics, like Avery. What do I do with these? Do I just copy and paste the pic?

I was looking for a faq for my questions, above and it was not obvious to me where I could find them.

For the resources that are posted here directly (the pics like Avery's that you mentioned) what you do is:-
Right click the image
Select 'Save image as'
Navigate to the folder on your HD where you store your resources and save the image there. I like to include cr [the name of the creator] as part of the file name so that I know whose resource it is.
When you want to use it, import it using the Resource Manager.

The description above works for everything but the generator parts, because the generator parts need to be adapted to your specific generator.
There are several tutorials on this forum on how to do that, please search again for how to add generator parts.
