  1. I've been looking all over, through the forums and all. And I'm hoping I just stupidly missed it. So moving on. I'm trying to work things out on my own as much as possible, but I've tried making events and such and the interior door Tutorial has no pictures anymore. I'm trying to set a Curtain for a door, and I've gotten it to play the sound, And smoothly open. The problem is I want to be able to open and close the curtain when it's clicked on, not just open and forever remain open. I figure I'm missing something, and I hope that maybe someone can help me find the key to my complex puzzle of opening and closing the curtain.

Again I'm so very sorry if I've missed this, I'm having trouble locating things easily on the forums and my google searches aren't coming up with anything either.

So Thank you very much for giving me a hand! Or at least directing me to the right place if I missed something!
  2. It sounds like you want a reverse move route (for the sake of animation) , in addition to what you already have. Is that it?
  3. I was using event pages and self switches. I have a feeling I might have missed a much more optimized way of making the animation, but yeah. I want it so if someone hits enter the curtain opens and if they hit enter again the curtain closes again.
  4. Please use meaningful thread titles for your threads - keywords indicating WHAT you need help with. We already know you need help ;)
  5. Sorry! I will, if I can change it how would I do that? If not I'll do better in the future!
  6. I recommend you look over the door from the quick event creation. It has sound, moves the player to somewhere else, and the thing relevant to your request: it plays an animation for the door by using moveroute. Experiment and see how you can effect the animation.
  7. OH! I feel stupid now. I forgot about the Quick event creation.
  8. Hey now, don't feel stupid. it's pretty easy to dismiss the Quick event creation, thinking that it's not making things go quicker because you wave to modify so much or you only want that one part and you can just do that normally.   And if you rarely right click to edit events, reminders of the existence of the qec are few and far between.  :)
  9. I figured it out! Thank you so much!
  10. Good for you, and you're welcome!
