How to make picture more bright in dark place

I make a horror game with rpg maker vx ace, i want to show picture at dark place but the picture is so dark too, how i show the picture without change the screen effect?

If your screen is so dark that you can't see the picture, I'm thinking you should question whether it needs to be that dark. It probably won't be enjoyable to play if it's so difficult to see things.

i already change the brightness into not too dark but the picture still too clear to see

There are several to check :
1. Try to minimize your game, and see if your monitor is the one who dark, or it is only your game that dark?

2. Does it's your picture that dark or it's your screen that dark?

3. Did you use a script that altering the map brightness? Like maybe Khas Awesome Lights?
