    Early 2000's.
  6. and I've really seen a lot of awesome 2D backgrounds made thru pixel art throughout my life so I won't be surprised if that really was made via pixel art...
  7. then yea if its early 2000 probably pixel art by hand id think if someone did one today they'd just make a program for it or something.

Yeah it prob took months to do these to.
  9. Technically, there is a lot of repeated elements so that shouldn't take that long to create for a professional.

Actually this is quite easy, it's just a lot of copy and past, if you know basics I mean. :)
  12. Yeah, that actually wouldn't take that long to make. I could do something similar in a day.

Things like this however make me weep with envy.

  13. I'd probably take a year or more of practice and another year or more working on it to make something like that Sharm... XD
  14. I would need more than a year to get there I think. It is what I'm working towards though. I will be that awesome someday! Personally I think they took a painting and then just digitally reproduced it as pixel art.
  15. can't wait to see you making those :)
