How do I use inventory items from the map screen?

Is there a plugin that lets me use inventory items on the maps screen? I made a torch/lantern system but it would be annoying to have to open the menu every time to use it so I was hoping maybe there is a plugin that is good for this? I have all of yanfly's plugins up and running, does he have something that might work?

Button Common Events should do the trick. You can set a button to trigger a common event, and in that common event you trigger the torch/lantern.
