How do I place stuff on tables / objects?

    Hey everyone!
    Sorry, could not find anything related to my problem. And if, it was not helpful at all. I hope you guys can help me out. :(

    Everytime when I'm trying to place stuff like flowers or food on any table/desk/commode, it won't fit exactly the way it should. My stuff is either above or at the very edge of it. I remember it working with earlier versions of RPG maker.

    Is there any specific trick I'm missing?

    it depends on what tile you use for tables and which one for the decoration.
    Tables that have the counter flag are shifted several pixels up by the engine, that is what some decorations are intended for. But other decorations were never intended to be placed on tables, those you would have to correct manually (which would waste space on the tilesets)

    How are your tilesets set up? Can you show us a screenshot of what it looks like in the editor/in game.
