How do I make the character bust's appear under the choices?

  1. Hi everyone. I'm using both Galv's Visual novel Choices script and Fomar0153's Faces to Busts script in my game, and I realised that the character bust appears over the choices, which would cover up wordy choices. Is there a way for me to make the choices appear over the character bust? I also have an additional question: I can't seem to find a way to put the bust on the right side of the screen (Sometimes, things get covered up by the bust when it is on the left, so I wish to move the bust to the right for those occasions). Is it possible to do that in Fomar0153's script?

  2. my mind went in completley the wrong direction when i read the title. lol

    anyway, what are charecter busts?
  3. @Oddball: larger portrait pictures like in the screenshots are called busts as opposed to "faces" that are used in default.

@Meganli: theoretically you would have to change the z-level of the display either in Fomar's bust script or in Galv's choice script.

However, have you tried Galv's bust script instead? there you would have a larger chance for compatibility, Galv might have checked that combination of his scripts himself.
  4. Yes, I actually tried using Galv's script first, but it didn't work for me (I kept getting error messages), so I had to switch to this one.

And I didn't know that was what the Z-level does! I'll try it out when I get home later.
  5. I've moved this thread to RGSSx Script Support. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

Please add links to the scripts to make it easy for people willing to help to be able to look them up.
  6. Changing the z-level in the script indeed worked! Thanks for the help! :) This thread may now be closed by a mod.
  7. how do you make the charecter busts appear instead of just the face's?
  8. with photoshop or gimp or other programs - there is no bust generator inside RM, you have to provide those pictures from somewhere else. For example, some of the shop packs contain bust pictures...
