How do i make it so text boxes don't fade out when switching to different text?

Basically i want the text boxes to not fade out but just switch quickly to the other text boxes.

Okay, color me confused.  My default version of VX Ace as long as you have text boxes directly after text boxes, they don't "fade out" at all.  The box just stays up and displays the new text upon hitting the "confirm" button.  If there's a choice or some kind of action or something, then depending on what it is, it fades the box out.

Do you have any scripts running?  What do your events that display the text look like?

I'm not even entirely sure what you mean by the "fade out" either.  It's a quick, "box gets smaller until it disappears" animation.
