The Delusion is a game about the journey of unnamed protagonist. Who he is, where he is from, why he is where he is, is a mystery. The game is about uncovering his identity. 

 

The Delusion is a horror game that begins in an underground settlement, You don't know who you are, or why you are there, you don't know how long you have been there or how long you will live.Your days are monotonous, one blending into the next, but what if you decided to escape? What if you want to see what the world looks like? 

 

Now you just have to find a way. 

 

Blending horror and psychological thriller, The Delusion is a dark story told through the eyes of a man who doesn't know himself and the secrets he uncovers along the way may make him wish he had never started this journey. 

 

Featuring a heavily story driven plot and multiple endings dependant on character choice The Delusion will reward exploration and deduction as you attempt to unravel the mystery of your own identity.

Thanks, I tone downed the volume of horror because it will be playable for general. So don't worry about horror. It will not harm... you.

Looks promising, from what I can see of the screenshots. I don't mind horror so I might give this a try someday.

its not that i cant handle uncomfortable atmospheres

they barely effect me

i love the darkness

Generally in horror,the writers find a need to have characters tortured,raped,mutilated(and rarely slavery)

none of which i can stand.

i may not love people

but one of my traits/morals is i cant stand to see unreasonable amount of suffering

even if its "fictional"  i dont feel any better

especially because its not even unrealistic such things happen on a daily basis in real life with 7 billion people in the world.

Well assume you played many horror games that the protagonist is absolutely weak, passive character. Don't worry about that stereotype, you will play totally different protagonist in my game.

just looked at the pictures lol...from the one at the top i had the image of this being a VN style game,with still pictures and choices of how to proceed XD had no idea this was a controllable game XD

Working progress on the crucial ending route. Actually the judge can't play this route because this route is about more than one hour (1 ~ 1.5). But I'm still making it to entertain people who play my game. And if I can't finish this mapping and cut-scene before the deadline, I just deduct this route in the game. Still people can enjoy it within one hour. Of course, I will polish it more after the contest got end.

Ooh, this looks really nice! I like the dark atmosphere that you've set up so far. Your maps look very crisp and pretty so far too. I'll definitely give this a try when it's finished.

Still mapping, glad I have no schedule recently. I'm sure I can finish this before the deadline. Because I curtailed the volume of the route.

I didn't upload the entry in the contest cause still have a time before the deadline.

Just wanted to provide a first experience of my game to here.

wonder if the grammar mistakes and awkward speaking were intentional(because of fitting with who the character is)

if not

a couple minutes in some grammar mistakes a examples

i am going to assume any all all grammar issues will be intentional for the player to feel more like the character as it quickly noted how he learned how to communicate

that aside,i love your sprite!

its like getting to play as the person/being that your normally run from! feels good!

(now if only someone would make a game where your model is a demon and monster girl :3)

ok i was wrong,i am now assuming your native language is not english as its extremely weird and possibly done thru google translate lol :3

but its good enough to understand if the player is fluent in english tho.

Hm... I will make that note as lack of English skill of the protagonist, not "me". XD

Anyway, I never used any translator. It's not good for learning and enhancing the English properly.

But it may be quite bothering if the English is horrible enough, then I'm going to polish some words before making a entry to the contest.

Edit 2 : Do not mind grammar error seriously as you're assuming characteristic of the protagonist. Making that kind of mistake simply embarrassing me. LoL

is that this was a good game,i did feel alot  notes were unneeded like one about a forced love relationship could of been left out

as theres way to many characters to remember everything.

considerably long if you look for everything(unless you dont have much of a choice until a certain point)

im not satisfied with the ending i got so hoping the other one is better but ive seen much worse so...that wont effect my thoughts on the overall game
