  1. So, sometimes i believe the word "battlers" are mixed up with the word "actors", or are they interchangeable?

anyhow, im looking for the side-view monsters that holder created and it seems everywhere i look they have been taken down or some sort. im not too sure.

ps: excuse my punctuation, frankly i have posted too many times on forums to care anymore. im new so youll treat me like a noob. i have been on this forum before i just cant remember my old username.

    Taaaanxxxx!!
  2. I don't think they mean the same thing. In all 3 RTP's the fighting graphics are called battlers. In XP the actors use battler graphics to fight. I haven't used any ABSs so I don't know how they work but I suspect it's a similar thing, that the actor is what the player characters are called and the battler is the name for the graphic used in battle regardless of if it's a player character, villain, or monster.
  3. yes, but in forums that talk about side-view battlers such as victors engine and others, they use the word "battlers" instead of "actors". its quite annoying when youre trying to google it and none of the enemy or monster sprites come up.

either way, im still looking for holder's enemies and if you know where they are that would be great
  4. To be fair, battlers is the term to use in that context even if they are only talking about the player characters. Actors also refers to the characters outside of battle so it doesn't quite work.

Some of the links on Holder's wordpress page work, you just have to click on the text that says "posted image".

Oh hey, this is in the wrong section. Let me take care of that for you.

I've moved this thread to Resource Requests. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.
  5. well when i get to his site, all of the thumbnail links to his monsters are gone... whyyyyy
  6. Same problem as Bluejay, all of his monsters and bosses are gone.
  7. Most of them aren't actually gone, it's just that the previews aren't working.  Click the links.
