I absolutely LOVE lizards!! Thank you for these.

Is every day a valid answer? Because if it is, then every day is my favorite.

So many sprites and all so well done! Adventurers (with and without swords), Merchants (with and without satchels), Elders (gotta love those hair curlers), Farmers (with and without hats), Crows, Crabs, a Petit Devil, Frilled Lizard, and bases for to make more sprites at home. And if, like me, you lack the artistic skills to adorn those bases, there are recolors! Definitely great additions to any and all sprite charsets. Thank you for these treats. I really loved the red and blue ogres, but that farmer remains my favorite. I'd also like to thank you taking the time to comment on all the wonderful advent creations and offering suggestions about how to use in games. I especially love suggesting GalacticGod's sprite with and without legs can be used in battle, "where he loses his bottom half and becomes immune to ground-based attacks!" Merry Christmas.

We've made it to the end, and somehow I managed to get something put together for every day! It's been a lot of fun and I really enjoyed hearing what y'all thought of every release. So I hope you have a great christmas and let's go out with something I know all you npc lovers will enjoy! :rwink:

Day 24: Sprite PSD Files!
I had to make a lot of bits and bobs for my npcs this advent, so I thought that maybe you'd like to be able to make your own unique sprites with them!


Below are PSD files so you can mix and match these resources along with the defaults to make as many characters as you want! You can open these files in Gimp, so even if you don't have photoshop you can still enjoy all the pieces.

All of your sprites were so great, it's hard to pick a favourite. I would say my favourite monster is the Petit Devil and my favourite humans are the recolours/mix matching days you did. (So basically all of them :p)

Thanks again for all these gifts. I've learned over the years, thanks to your and @Avery 's tutorials, how to clump and copy/cut/paste images for edits. Now it's time for me to step it up a notch and learn how to work with a psd files. Thank you again for just being you.

Y'all didn't think I'd disappear from this thread without giving you your xmas presents, did you?

I had quite a few ideas that unfortunately didn't get finished due to time, so those will have to wait for my birthday release. Instead, enjoy some base presents to add more fun to your games!

First up, the ogre base! The red and blue ogres are based off mz's default monsters, but what is stopping you from having a whole rainbow of ogres to battle? These are slightly bigger and buffer than the default humans, so you could also use this as a base for a lumbering tan party member.


Next, let's add some scales to your game's with lamia bases! Years ago I made some lamias for mv, and now mz gets their turn! Make a whole town of slithering snakepeople, or turn them into monsters for your heroes to challenge in dungeons!


But that's not all! If you want your lamias to join your team (or face off against them in battle), then these SV battler bases are for you! They'll fit the default generator hair and most of the parts, though obviously any pants won't worked right. :p

Oh my goodness! Sprite bases! Lamia SV!? These are amazing! And the psd files drop--oh my! That is so incredibly useful! Thank you for all of this, Hiddenone. Your work this Advent has been incredible. I especially love the monsters--crabs, the ogres, they've been great!
