  1. :kaojoy: It's Advent calendar time! :kaojoy:

My internet's acting up, so gotta post quick!

    Day 15: The Frilled Lizard!
Need a reptile to run around your maps harassing your heroes? Then this lil' guy is the one you need! Ready to race over and attack, this critter's confidence is as big as its frill! It also comes with a downed sprite, for when your heroes whack it into next week.

Its alternate sprite comes with its frill lowered, so you could have nonaggressive ones wandering around or use it as a visual for when your heroes haven't been spotted by it yet!

    Happy game making! :ptea:
  2. The attention to detail on the frills is *chef's kiss*.
One could say the bottom one....it's a no frills sprite.
  3. He looks more like a ranger than a farmer but still looks good. :thumbsup-right:
  4. Once again another incredible sprite. Always amazing work!
  5. Oh my gosh, the frilled lizard is too adorable.

Between you and @Guardinthena we could have quite the menagerie with lizards running in circles around owlbears.
  6. :kaojoy: It's Advent calendar time! :kaojoy:

After a monster sprite, we all know what's next: a base!

Day 16: Straw Hat & Backpack Base!
Our female farmer had a nice straw hat, and now your heroes can too! Just plop this onto your sprites and clean up any stray hairs, and they're ready to avoid a sunburn!
    hat_base.png
But that's not all! Earlier I released the female merchant's crossbody bag base, but you may have noticed the male merchant had a different bag. Now you can have your adventurers carry all of their supplies in a backpack, or make your own merchants!
    $backpackbase_female1.png$backpackbase_male1.png

This base has an alternate version where the sprite is holding onto the backpack straps, just in case your heroes want to make sure their backpack doesn't fall off!
    $backpackbase_female2.png$backpackbase_male2.png
And this is the end of my calendar pattern! What does that mean for the rest of the advent? CHAOS! :rheh: (Sort of)
    Happy game making! :ptea:
  7. Thank you for giving us the hat separately. And those two sprite bases are invaluable. I especially like the fact that one version has them holding the straps. Such a natural pose. Great work.
  8. That's a farmer's hat alright.

With my base npcs all done, it's time for some familiar faces!

    Day 17: Female Recolors!
More npcs are always nice to have, so I thought "why not make some recolors of them?" So here are our four lovely ladies from the calendar, with new colors to make them into all new people!
    npc_females1.png

And let's have even more sprites! By mixing and matching the pieces I made, we can enjoy even more new characters! Glasses adventurer and freckled merchant are my favorite, which are yours?

Where would you use any of these ladies?
    Happy game making! :ptea:
  10. I've missed a few days. I absolutely love the frilled lizard and it's recolor. So much lizardy-attitude in that one XD

The recolors of the ladies are so beautiful. I am stunned. I don't know how I could pick a favorite amongst them. You did an incredible job with these.

Every outdoor market should have a granny in a hat. She is brilliant.
  12. Recolors are great. You can add more variety, every person doesn't look the same. Good work, @hiddenone.
  13. Love all the re-colors. They're all so different. Easy to put them in different locations in ones game and feel like completely different sprites.
  14. I love me some recolors. Great idea to add some variance
  15. They're all so beautiful. My favourite recolour is the farmer and my favourite mix and matching ones are the granny with the straw hat and the merchant with braids. :wub
  16. Loving the recolors. They all look so good.

    Day 18: Male Recolors!
Most villages need more than two or three people living there, so here are some male recolors to help fill your towns with more npcs, more possible side quests, and more fun!
    npc_males1.png

And much like with the ladies, these men get their own mixed and matched versions for even more npcs to wander your game's world! Enjoy another excellent haircut worn by a merchant and an exhausted adventurer!

Where would these guys show up in your games?
    Happy game making! :ptea:
  18. More recolours - excellent.
    Thank you once more.
  19. Love the variety, keep them coming!
  20. You managed to create some really lovely and unique characters, each one seems to have a story to tell :)
