Thanks for the ears! Will be useful :)
-
I definitely will need those anthro bits. Now all we need is face pieces for them...
-
Hi hiddenone! Sorry to bother you, but when do you plan to finish the SV battlers for the 3-1 and 3-3 Actors?
-
@Ilan14 - I'd like to work on them soon, but life's been keeping me busy. Hopefully I'll get to them in the next couple of weeks.
I haven't has a lot of free time lately, but I was able to make a few windows. I'm not super happy with the wood one (is there a way to make it not transparent?), but maybe someone will find it useful. :)

Those ones look pretty good! :)

I seem to be having an issue where, after I import the anthro bases to the generator, none of the TV sprites work on the female side :/ I really love your addons but I haven't been able to figure out a way to get them to work for me. Any suggestions, or changes I can make?
-
@Rob - I'm not sure why only the TV sprites aren't showing up, please check that the '_p' numbers of the files all match in your generator.
-
I have, but just did so again to make absolutely sure.
They're all "_p20", "_p21", and "_p22". I've tried removing and adding them back too :/
I copied everything into a folder just so that I could see all the files in one place and make sure that there weren't any discrepancies. As far as I can tell everything is named as it should be. :/
I grabbed a screenshot of the folder just in case I missed something obvious. I'm completely new to MV so it could be staring me in the face for all I know.
-
@Rob - Huh, I'm not sure why they're not working then. The only other thing I can think of is that maybe you've added other pieces that don't not have TV pieces, but maybe you'll get a better answer if you ask in the MV support section.
-
Actually, I think you just told me what the problem is. The 3 items in the generator right before your bases don't have TV or SV sprites. They're blushes for the face generator. I'll try removing them / reinstalling your bases and edit this post if it works. :)
EDIT: Didn't work :/
Even weirder: I have gone so far as to restore the generator folder to its default condition (I keep a backup) and added JUST these images (the female ones) in manually. Forgot to edit them to have the correct numbers, so it didn't work the first time. The second time it didn't work either. It's somehow more broken. Now only the TVD (and Variation) sprites are showing. The TV and now the SV ones don't show up at all. What even?
One more edit: I've re downloaded the sprites and imported them from the Beastmen pack (myself and by using a batch importer), and even gone so far as to open up the sheets in photoshop, copy the sprites, and save entirely new files. Exact same result every time. I've even reinstalled MV. So I've come to the conclusion that it hates me and I'm not bothering with this anymore tonight. ;-;
Sorry if I've been a headache. I still love your work ^^; -

@Rob Hi,nice to meet you,it's really strange your problem.May I suggest you to use @chalkdust download for this resources, maybe it will work? I used his download and it worked perfectly for me "MVRaces".

Just downloaded that yesterday, actually! Didn't even think to try that yet! I'll try that out in the morning, thank you!
And yeah, it is a rather strange bug, isn't it? I swear I had it working at one point too. MV is weird sometimes lol. -

Yeah, mostly it's so strange, because I saw that you know which are the steps to import resources into your generator, and you are a careful person making files backups, that's a plus + for you. And you gone so far many times to make them work,I appreciate this.We have to make them work somehow. -
Be careful that @chalkdust downloads it's replacing entirely the base body, just be sure to have your human body backup. We trying this way to see if it works, hope it will. It's a little harder, because anytime you need a new race, you have to replace the base body again. But as I said I'm trying to figure it out what could be the problem, the files or the human mistake. As I saw you know what you doing,we trying with the files first, hope it will work.
Btw I'm sorry you have to get through all this to import this wonderful resources from @hiddenone. -
Well, if worse comes to worse I'll just have to import the parts into photoshop and compile the sprites myself. But that doesn't bother me too much. Thanks so much @chalkdust and @hiddenone for trying to help me figure this out. :rswt:
-
Waiting for your reply then :) Good luck!
-
The new race swapping setup hiddenone has implemented using facial marks is much better than the old method I used (replacing the base body) since it can all be accomplished in the generator. I would not recommend trying to use both methods in the same generator folder. And I wouldn't recommend using my old file at all. Your best solution is almost certainly ignoring my old attempts and using hiddenone's newest files, which are perfectly optimized for this purpose.

Sorry guys, finally just got around to trying this out. I've had a busy few days, personally.
Unfortunately even @chalkdust's method didn't work. Below is what happened.
Chalkdust, I know you said hiddenone's method is better, but unfortunately it doesn't work for me. The glitch I got here is marginally better than what happened before.
Something's clearly up with my version, so I'm not going to keep worrying about the problem. I have no qualms with doing the sprites up myself in Photoshop. I'm not much of a spriter, but I can put pieces together.
Actually, at large, because of this error, I'm considering using converted graphics from RMXP, which is what my project started in years ago before life pulled me away from working on it. There's a method that I've seen in a post on here that actually makes them look pretty decent, and I figured out the re-sizing to get it to work in MV myself. :)
Thanks @hiddenone and @yunary for trying to help me out. :)
EDIT: Somehow I pasted the TVD files in the TV folder xD Unfortunately, moving them didn't fix the problem. >_< -

The TV and TVD seems not working well. The TV kinda worked, but the TVD didnt at all.May I suggest you to check how the TVD is named? Then we will check the TV too,but the TVD part appear easier to solve as a "problem".If it doesnt appear at all,the most common reason it is that the file name or number isn't the same with the rest of the files.
It is strange this thing, because you kinda used 2 resources in this case(@hiddenone and @chalckdust) And in both cases you are unable to see the TV and TVD part. This shouldn't happen at 2 different resources, and 2 different ways of import them into your generator.
My conclusion it is that is something wrong with the RPG MAKER MV + RTP,and it should need a careful uninstall and a clean re-installation.
